INCOME TAX

GSTR-3B is applicable to all normal taxpayers registered under GST. This is a monthly self-declaration that has to be filed for all outward supplies made, including input tax credit claimed, tax liability ascertained and taxes paid.

GSTR-9 is the annual return to be filed by all taxpayers registered under GST. According to the GST Law, the last date for it is 31st December of the year following the relevant financial year. GST Return & Registration

TDS 24Q-26Q

TDS stands for Tax Deducted at Source. The concept of TDS was introduced with an aim to collect tax from the very source of income. The government receives a particular tax amount when a transaction is made. TDS includes the amount which is subtracted by the payer and paid to the government. There are different types of TDS forms. Amongst those, form 24Q is a statement for TDS from salaries, whereas form 26Q is for Source details on domestic payments other than salary.

  • A person (deductor) who is liable to make payment of specified nature to any other person (deductee) shall deduct tax at source and remit the same into the account of the Central Government.
  • The deductor from whose income tax has been deducted at source would be entitled to get a credit of the amount so deducted based on Form 26AS for the TDS certificate issued by the deductor.
  • TDS statement displays a summary of all the entries of TDS collected and paid by the deductor to the Income Tax Authority.

TIN FC

Tax Information Network (TIN) Facilitation Center is an initiative by the Income Tax Department of India (ITD) for the development of the current system for collection, processing, monitoring and accounting of direct taxes using information technology. It looks after the application and allotment of TDS and PAN Card forms of Indians living in India or abroad.

  • The center receives TCS/e-TDS returns from collectors or deductors and transfers them to the central system of TIN.
  • They receive hard copies of TCS/TDS returns from non-government collectors and non-corporate organizations and transfer them to the central system of TIN.
  • They collect Annual Informative Returns from individuals and transfer them to the central system of TIN.
  • TIN FC also works on requests to make any corrections or changes in the PAN data that are already allotted in PAN cards.
